3inparty Posted September 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2009 As I could not find any photos of a Diamond Princess triple-bed setup before our cruise, I am posting the attached photos. Our cabin, Baja 251, could be set up for 4 beds, although a 4th bed might make things a little difficult to maneuver. The 3rd & 4th beds are found in ceiling trays which fold down and then out (see photos). Our steward would lower the bed while we were at dinner and raise it while we were at breakfast, so we didn’t have to spend a great deal of time dealing with the 3rd bed. When down, the bed frame did stick out into the hallway by about 6-8 inches (see photo) which could possibly be an obstacle in the dark. The length seemed to be the same as the lower beds. Although not the same mattress as the lower beds, we heard no complaints from my son and I thought that the mattress was of better quality than what is usually found in a fold-out couch. RickEk Posted September 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2009 Hmmmm... I would think that they would've pushed the nightstands together to create a bit more space between the beds...
