pjunction Posted September 26, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 26, 2009 I ask this question several months ago and never got an answer. Does anyone know about vista #738 on the Wind. How much bigger than other vista cabins and is there enough room for a third person? Is it a chopped up room with funny configuration? Thanks
wripro Posted September 26, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 26, 2009 Instead of waiting several months for an answer why don't you have your TA find out?
duct tape Posted September 26, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 26, 2009 738 on the Wind is a huge Vista suite. Very popular.
njguy_south Posted September 27, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 27, 2009 I called Silversea today, and this Vista is 325 sq', while the regular Vista is 240 sq'. But they could not tell me how it was configured.
Goldens4 Posted September 27, 2009 #5 Share Posted September 27, 2009 Then call SS again and ask to speak to a supervisor or someone who knows what the configuration is. If this is an important issue, be persistent.
Friscorays Posted September 27, 2009 #6 Share Posted September 27, 2009 This thread concerning cabin #738 on the Wind had some discussion going: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=921169&highlight=738+wind Here is what Cruise Critic member "Narita" said: "What a wonderful stay we had in #738. Super arrangement and so roomy for a vista suite. I can now report there is NO audible noise from the elevator close to the suite. It is very quiet. Enjoy. It is a treat..... the suite is recangular with the foot of the bed toward the sitting area, divided by heavy curtain if desired with comforatlbe sofa with great lighting for the insomniac not to disturb the one in bed. Same bathroom , no cupboards--- so we enjoyed hanging our toiletries on back of door which has two knobs. Our toiletry case has removable plastic holders--similiar to shoe/handbag holders with velco tabls perfect for hanging. Otherwise with same goofy bowl and water splashing all over the back ground. Also glass shower guard is too short so water splashes all over when showering--but guess what we have mail service twice a day ! Two picture windows--black out curtains. One more thing, early in the morning we heard things being moved and when we realized what it was we meant to mention it and forgot--it is the pool staff moving the lounges into place on the pool deck . Im sure they would be glad to refrain for another amount of time in that area--if its troublesome to you."
