New Mariner Program on Statendam

Thanks Kathy, for all the up-to-date information. I'm still trying to find out from HAL what 25% for 3* and 50% for 4*off "wine packages" means. I asked the Mariner Society call centre by 'phone and was told that it includes the 10 and 20 glass wine cards but Kakalina (on an earlier posting) was told that it's not and that it is restricted to bottle packages. If you're still on board, can you find out please?

Hi ~

I have confirmation that the Mariner discount does not apply to the wine-by-the-glass cards. It only applies to the bottle packages. I spoke with the Cellar Master and the Beverage Manager. Both of them gave me the same answer. The beverage manager said the by-the-glass cards already offer a discount and they could not give another 25%+ discount.

Also, I saw the 2-star pin this evening and it is more of a copper color than the 3-star pin. So, they do vary slightly in color but not in design (other than the quantity of stars).

Kathy
