Bringing On Your Own Wine?

Upon boarding, do they allow you to bring your own wine on board with you? We are cruising the Caribbean on the Millennium departing Sunday, 1/9, and am not sure if we bring a few of our own bottles of wine with us to enjoy on our veranda before dinner will they allow us to take the wine on board with us?

We have always brought our own wine on board and never had a problem. In fact, we took Jewel of the Seas this summer on the Baltic cruise and we had a few in our carry on luggage and brought a shipping box with us from the states. When we got to London, we purchased some California wines from the US Embassy (we have friends that work there) and even picked up a few really nice French reds for a great price. We were on a last hurrah family cruise ( the older kids are soon to be married with kids of their own) and we were able to enjoy some of our special wines from home on a very special trip!

Just got off the Infinity today. We took a case for our 14 day trip. I just had it packaged up in wine shipping dividers & sent it on board as a piece of luggage. They delivered it no problem. Just take them to your table & enjoy.....corkage was fair I thought.

We've done the same. Ship down a case with us from NY, carry it on, pay the corkage. Would rather do that and have what we know we like, than pick from their list, where what we like is overpriced, and what is reasonable is not what we like.
