Xunantunich or Lamanai Mayan Ruins?

Which one is the better to go see? We have only been to tiny ruins in Cozumel. We will be on the RC Navigator end of Jan/10. They are each listed as 7 hr. tours. I know there is alot of driving to and from the ruins, which won't leave that much time to tour them. I have found lots of feedback about Lamanai, but not much about Xunantunich.

We went to Xunanatunich in May. It is a long bus ride but you have about 2 hours at the site. The site is up on a hill where you have to walk from the parking lot. You cross a river in a hand cranked ferry and then a shuttle to the parking lot. At the top of the temple, you can see for miles. They serve a nice lunch at Hobes in San Ignacio after you leave the site. The buses are nice and comfortable with a bathroom. Just be prepared for a long day if there are any delays on the road.
