Select Dining - best time?

I have booked to go on Celebrity Equinox in December. Having previously cruised with Princess, loved the anytime dining when you literaly turned up when you felt like it. I understand with Celebrity you have to reserve your dinner time beforehand. What is the best time to dine to catch the evening entertainment?

Thanks for any help.

I have been wondering when this question was going to be raised. The entertainment is usually scheduled after first seating around 8:30 and then later I think around 10:30 or 11 pm. It fits after the two dining schedules. Unless you eat at 6 or 8:30 somewhere you are going to either miss some of the first entertainment or need to wait for the second show.

So I guess what I am saying the "best"time to dine to see the shows is either 6 pm or 8:30 pm!

We got off the Equinox last month and we choose 6:15. That left enought time to catch the 8:45 or 9:00 shows.
