MalibuCA Posted October 8, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 8, 2009 Who has been to the Musee des Beaux-Arts in Montreal? We are spending a few days pre-cruise in Montreal, and I am trying to plan each day's itinerary. How much time should I allow at the Musee des Beaux-Arts? I recognize that if time were not a factor, I could probably spend a week there (much like the Met in NYC). Being limited by time, however, I was wondering whether I should allow a few hours, a 1/2 day, a full day? We want to see their temporary exhibit as well as highlights of the permanent collection. Please give me your recommendations. Thanks, Shelley:)

Sometimes the temporary exhibits can be worth a few hours themselves. I would give it a few hours, definitely not a day, unless the temporary exhibits are something spectacular.... like a few years ago.
