Jamaican Patties & Seven Mile Beach?

We have a morning stingray city excursion booked and we were thinking of getting dropped off for an hour or so somewhere along 7 mile beach.

 

I wanted to try a Jamaican Patty and wondered if there were any places you could grab one on Seven Mile Beach?

Jamaican patties are served as a hot food item at any gas station.

Thinking of Sea Grapes or Royal Palms. Are there gas stations close to these places?

There is an Esso gas station about a quarter mile north of Royal Palms. There is no gas station so close to Sea Grape.

What's in a Jamaican Patty?

I am the OP and back from my cruise. I didn't get to seven mile beach and get a meat patty , but when I got back on the Carnival Legend it was Caribbean themed buffet and they had them there, so I got lucky and was able to try one.

 

It is like a small fried pocket with meat filling. It was pretty good.

What's in a Jamaican Patty?

 

A meat pie (although some are veggie). There are some similar creations in parts of the US. These were beef, chicken, turtle (one of each). Form a place that seems to no longer be there.
