Century Med first night dining

Could someone recently back from a Century Med cruise tell me what the first night dining arrangements are. Since we sail at 6 I don't want to assume it will be open dining like later leaving cruises. Thanks in advance for the help. Happy Cruising

Could someone recently back from a Century Med cruise tell me what the first night dining arrangements are. Since we sail at 6 I don't want to assume it will be open dining like later leaving cruises. Thanks in advance for the help. Happy Cruising

 

We just recently returned from a Summit Med cruise that sailed out of Barcelona at 7pm and it was assigned seating (either 6:30 or 8:30pm) Most people (it seemed) boarded around lunch time and had lunch and then had dinner at normal seating time requested. I suppose if you were to miss your seating, you have the option to go to the buffet or order room service?

We were on the Century Med cruise that left Barcelona on Sept 19. The early and late seatings were at 715p and 845p on every night.
