Not enough action on the Port of Call board to get an answer to this question..Anyone know of a good one?? I see one through Island Marketing and I know Carnival does one...just want to find the nicest place.

We just took a taxi into PDC and walked down the beach till we found a place we liked, paid to rent some chairs and set up camp for the day. Don't remember the name, but we had great service (bar and food) all day. Lots of places to chose from.

I believe the Blue Parrot lets you do this. They have a website if you need to ask them.

Alot of the all-inclusive resorts allow for day passes. There are LOTS of resorts all up and down the coast from Tulum to Playa Del Carmen. The taxi drivers can probably steer you to one. We plan on going to the Palladium this winter when docked which is a resort we have stayed at several times. When docked one year we hired a driver who took us everywhere we wanted to go. We spent several wonderful hours at Half Moon Bay in Akumal snorkeling and sitting at a beachfront restaurant eating and drinking. The snorkeling there was spectacular. There is a sunken spanish cannon, sea turtles, beautiful fish. Our driver also drove us to the ruins and into Playa as well. It was a great day!
