Slot & Blackjack Tournaments on AOS

Has anyone entered to tournaments and if so how much to enter? Where do we sign up ? We will be sailing on AOS 1.16.05.

Usually it runs about $20.00 and you sign up in the casino on the day of the tournament.

We've never entered the slots tournament, but my wife and I have entered the blackjack tournament on almost every cruise. I have reached the finals three times and won the tournament on the Celebrity's Summit last year. I won almost $400, a polo shirt proclaiming me a winner, and a certificate and a trophy. It was tres cool. My wife got to the finals on our last cruise. It costs $20 to enter and they give you a ticket. They keep a leader board with the top seven players on it, and at the end of the preliminary rounds, the top seven go into the finals. You're given $500 in chips, and there are seven hands dealt. They award prizes to the first, second, and third-place winners. It's a lot of fun.

We entered the slot and the blackjack tournaments on the Jewel last month. They were $20 each and there were signs posted in a couple of spots around the ship saying when they'd be run. My dh won the slot tournament - $572.:)
