Does anybody know anything about this hotel? It says its at federal highway and 17th street.

 

Looking into a stay park and cruise deal for 89.00.

I've read some really bad reviews on tripadvisor about that hotel. It's in the worst area of the port neighborhood, surrounded by fast food restaurants.

You get what you pay for, I'd look elsewhere. It's old and not a very nice place.

 

Any of the other SE17th Street hotels are fine though... And your car is safest in the covered, secure parking garages at the port.

We stayed there in May of this year only because they were the only hotel that offered transportation to the POM from FLL. It was a scary neighborbood, but in the end it served it's purpose for a one night stay.

 

We're in the same situation now for our upcoming cruise and their POM package has now doubled in price so I'm looking for alternatives.

thanks all. I changed to the sleep inn in dania for the same money and services. Much better reviews from all travel sites.

I just got off the phone (direct line) with Sleep Inn on 5th Avenue in Dania, and they charge $7.00 per night for leaving your car during your cruise. The LaQuinta nearby has free parking for the week if you stay there pre-cruise. Just thought everyone should be aware of this.
