My central heating pump is noisy; what should I do to quieten it down?

Without trying to be offensive, have you tried the most obvious?

 

1. Hitting it with a hammer

2. Swearing at it

3. Surrounding it with egg boxes

4. Telling it you love it

5. Using a Eronbeld 5.4m vacuum pressure release valve to descale the thermcoulpler and repositioning the high messeuium constantainer to the exipital vario flow pump mechanism

6. Getting a new one

7. Contacting whipsnade to see if they can send a hairy red bottomed babboon to beat it with a stick

8. Get a head shaking, tutting, bum scratching, non part carrying, excuse for a plumber to bleed you dry of your hard earned cash
