WiFi On Board QM2 - Will My iPod Touch Work?

I read on a previous thread that the wireless keyboards in the QM2 staterooms have been removed, because the QM2 now has WiFi available.

As of October 2008, I was able to use the interactive television by using the wireless keyboard to compose and send E-mail and receive messages in my stateroom on Deck Five - sheltered balcony.

Will my Apple iPod Touch which has WiFi capabilities, work in my stateroom?

Is there a fee to use the WiFi for sending and receiving E-mails?

Thanks for any help and advice.

I don't know about the iPod Touch, but my iPhone worked well with the wireless connection in our cabin. Just don't forget to log out!

Yes, there is a fee for using the wireless internet on board.

Hi Terry., I was on the world last year and loved using my ITOUCH., I was able to use it everywhere on the ship, unfortuantely the free minutes the WORLDCLUB provide do not include your own pc or wireless system but must be redeemed through the internet cafe/room onboard, but I was able to download my emails quickly from my Itouch, log off and then send return emails from the ship provided system using the free minutes. I was unable to send emails from the itouch.

Good luck....
