seating change

what are my chances of getting my early dinner seating moved to a late seating for an april cruise... i simply forgot to specify late seating when i booked and that we'd like to be seated at a large table, so when the confirmation papers arrived i found an early seating with a table for 2-4... did that once and don't want to do it again... should i call carnival directly or go though my online TA?

Carnival probably won't resond since you booked with an on-line TA! Give the TA a call, and let them know!! They'll be happy to make the change, but nothing is quaranteed, it's just a request! :rolleyes:

Go through your online TA. You won't find out your seating for sure until you get your Sail & Sign card. If you don't get the seating you requested once you get on the ship go to the Maitre'D and request a change.

I personally had an issue where we did request late seating, but our sign and sail we noticed was early seating.

 

We spoke w/ the Maitre'D and he changed it without hesitation. Painless, really.

I may be wrong on this , but I think your chances are pretty good. We had requested early seating on our Inspiration cruise in Nov, & it was even listed that we had it when I check "My reservation" online. But when we got onto the ship, they had assigned us late seating. When I tried to get it changed back to early, they said the ship was sold out & no can do. We made the best of it, but I think your chances of changing early to late are a much better bet. Good luck
