Doubletree Ocean Point Resort in North Miami Beach - ok location for POM?

Hello.. I'm looking into the Hilton family hotels (gotta keep accruing hhonors points!) for our one night stay prior to our cruise leaving from Port of Miami.

 

I'm looking into the Doubletree Ocean Point in North Miami Beach....I checked on google maps and it looks like its probably 30-40 min away from the port. I think thats ok considering we'll be finishing up a 5-6 hr drive to get there... Any one have any input regarding this hotel? Would this make a good pre-cruise night hotel?

There are better Doubletrees. Try the Doubletree Surfcomber instead.
