VIP Embarcation Lounge LA

Leaving on the Star MR Cruise in an AE in December. Question: Is there an Embarcation VIP lounge for Suite guests? Thx.

Yes, go to the right after you enter the terminal and there will be a sign for Suites and Villas, they will check you in there.

but there is a VIP line. Its after you go through the security / metal detectors (this just the way LA is set up; those familar with Miami will note the difference). Just look for the VIP / Suites banner and there should be a person standing there with a list of names. Give him / her your name and they will let you get in line.

 

Check in for us was a breeze and there were a few chairs set off to the side with some refreshments set out. We met our concierge at her table and were escorted by our butler right away on board the ship. This didn't allow for any use of the chairs / refreshments.

 

If you are looking for a VIP "room" while checking in for cruises out of LA, you will not find it.

Some chairs, snacks and drinks that for NCL is a VIP lounge. We had the Garden Villa with six of us on our last cruise, and check in was easy.

Here are a couple of pictures of the suite check in. The 1st is of the check in area with the concierge and butlers. The 2nd & 3rd pictures are looking out from the suite waiting area at the other passengers waiting to check in.
