sinkers22 Posted January 7, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2005 I'm not exactly sure of the website, but there is a packing list out there called something like "Calgon's Packing List". If you Google Calgon's packing list, if should come up. It is a little over the top, but a fabulous guide to use and I've never cruised without it. I've also never forgotton anything! Carolyn1950 Posted January 7, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 7, 2005 oops, guess you can't do that.. Try a search on Cruise diva packing list.
LDeBord Posted January 7, 2005 #5 Share Posted January 7, 2005 I also suggest the cruise diving list.....I didn't forget a thing. My bottle of wrinkle reducer was a big hit...all the family members borrowed it....as I hung my shirts, pants, dresses etc up, just sprayed them with the wrinkle reducer...worked great. a door hook to hang over the bathroom door....I then placed my toiletries bag on the hook....I sometimes would hang one over the closet door to put my outfit out for dinner that night. alwysonvctn Posted January 7, 2005 #6 Share Posted January 7, 2005 Sinkers22-Thank you for the link, I had not seen that one before, and I like it better than cruise diva's.
KarlaC Posted January 7, 2005 #7 Share Posted January 7, 2005 Don't forget a power cord. I didn't feel like packing one and boy was it ever a mistake. One outlet for two people with batteries to charge etc....Don't make the same mistake I did. I agree with LDeBord...don't forget the wrinkle releaser. AHHHH! What a wonderful suggestion. Where would travelers be without it...probably ironing all day long. I like to spray my article of clothing with the releaser before I take a shower. When showering, I hang it in the bathroom to steam the article also. Works like a charm.
Carolyn1950 Posted January 7, 2005 #8 Share Posted January 7, 2005 I love the part on "Calgon" about when you are done packing, take out half the clothes and go get twice as much money.:) I didn't wear about half of what I packed last time.. This time I am going to be much more conservative..
basketballmom Posted January 7, 2005 #9 Share Posted January 7, 2005 This was the best tip I ever got for packing. It gives you so much more counter space in the cabin and especially the bathroom. It makes it easier to find something in a hurry too!
shoreguy Posted January 7, 2005 #10 Share Posted January 7, 2005 The calgon list seems a bit light in some critical areas - 2 pair of socks - 4 pair of underwear. It will be the sink or the stink :D
Copper_beeches Posted January 8, 2005 #11 Share Posted January 8, 2005 There are several threads on this subject on the boards, I think they're under cruise rituals, or befor eyou cruise or something like that... :-)
