NCL- Getting wine onboard

So you're part of the naughty but nice family??:) :D Sounds like fun. Is the wine the same price on all of the ships?

Yep, that's us. With a last name like "Nice" we're always on one of Santa's lists but, I do believe that I've appeared on the Naughty one as well on more than one occasion.

I can't say that I ever really examine the wine lists on board. I'm far from a connoisseur, I just like a decent red. I once read somewhere that the cheapest bottle is often one of the better at the lower price category on any wine list. Why? Because the restaurants etc. know that most people don't want to appear cheap so, they'll order the second or third cheapest rather than the lowest priced, just to look better to their tablemates and their server. I don't have that qualm. Cheap works for me....on many levels:p. I usually find a Spanish or Argentinian or Bulgarian red in the $27-$29 range every time we cruise with NCL. They're all drinkable.

We always smuggle booze onboard. We fill up Nalgene water bottles with wine, gin, tequila, etc and put them in our luggage. Also, boxes of wine have not been detected.

Well done! Next time there's a price increase due to reduced revenues I'll raise a glass to you.......

In your visit to the naughty room, did you see any rum-runners? Or were they all bottles? Just curious.

And judgeing from the hundreds of bottles I saw on the floor with tags on them....they are pretty good at catching people.......
