We are booked pre-cruise at the Westin Rio Mar Jan 22nd...Has anyone stayed at this hotel? How far is it from the airport and ship's pier? How much would a taxi cost to both places?

I was there 5 years ago -about a 30 minute ride-Very beatiful in a plastic sort of way ---beach in nice if you stroll away from the action.

GREAT HOTEL but VERY FAR - not convenient at all for pre or post cruise! Not worth it.
