Island balcony dividers

Recommended Posts

looking at the Island for canal transit (west to east) nest year. Portside on Emerald deck and was wondering if dividers open between the following balconies.

E626,628,630,632 OR E220,222,,224,226 OR E720,722,724

We would like three balcony cabins side/side with dividers that open. I know some are capable of being opened and others are not. I am also aware that it is ultimately up to the captain on any particular sailing to limit the # opened. This is what we have done many times on other sailings and only trying to get info as noted above. Thanks for the input.

Have you phoned Princess? It seems to me that they would know more than anyone here about this.

yep, already have (as well as TA). Its always hit and miss with cruise agent. I agree that they 'should' know, with emphasis on should. I've been through this many times before with other ships and found that CC fits the bill. I will of course continue calling Princess in an effort to get someone who knows, but in the meantime hope somewhere here has had a first hand look. Thanks.

can be opened on cruise ships.

I could be wrong but someone addressed this on a previous post.I believe that the only balcony dividers than can't be opened are the ones where there is a fire wall. I think the deck plans show these walls.

If this works:p

You may receive inquiries regarding access through the balconies of adjacent balcony staterooms (i.e. will passengers traveling together in adjacent balcony staterooms have the ability to "share" their balconies?). Basically, the majority of adjacent balcony staterooms will allow passengers traveling together to access each other's balcony. However, the opening between the balconies is restrictive; approximately 2 feet wide. Please note that due to the steel structure dividers, the following adjacent balcony staterooms have no interconnecting balcony access to each other.

couldnt get it to paste properly but can you understand? Those cabins do NOT have connecting balconies. Sorry a little hard to read

got it, no problem with reading. This is for the Island? Just want to make sure. So, in theory E630,632, and 702 should have balcony access?? or the E220,222,224,226 should access as well?? I question those as I see very few foward cabins.

This is great tool. May I ask where you found it? I currently have E 628,630,632 so will need to make a change.

I have also sent Princess an email in hopes for info from them on the specific cabins. No word as of yet. Thanks again.

yes this is for the Island. The ones affected for you appear to be

E720 / E722

E724 / E726

E628 / E630

so yes the others should be fine. This is the information I have of course it can change without warning as can everything else in life;) but this I do believe is accurate as I post.
