Recommended shore tours

Hi there,

I am going on the 9th January cruise on Pacific Jewel to Noumea, Ouvea, Wala and Vila and was wondering if anyone can recommend any independant shore tours on these islands? I am interested in the parasailing in Vila - has anyone done this?

Hi hungryhippo. Pete & I did this in Feb this year.Email is info@portvilaparasailing.com We had a great time even though it rained. The only day it did on our cruise. They are great people. It was $85.00 per person. You pay on the day in Aust dollars.They pick you up at the wharf and drop you back. We got very wet because of the rain but if the weather is good you won't get too wet. Thanks for that info. I am not too fussed about getting wet or anything, and it looks like great fun. I think we will book this one, I have wanted to parasail for a long time!

We did the Cliffs of Jokin Tour in Lifou, we were supposed to go to Ouvea as well but the civil unrest is still going on there.

 

I highly recommend it but it is a little strenuous, they didnt tell us that there were 200 steps each way :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: I am a little overweight but made it!!
