Help with Cabin location

We are going to Europe for a 12 day cruise on the Ruby and we are looking at booking D category on the Plaza deck. Cabin choices are P301, 307, 309, 325.

I don't have a map or a brochure, can anyone tell me what is located on that deck and above that deck? I was told above is the casino, but is that located directly above these cabins? If so, do you think it will be noisy/loud? We are light sleepers.

thank you kindly for your help!

We did a 14 day European cruise in Sept on the Grand. The casino was never very full. Since these cruises are typically port intensive no one stays up very late. There were hardly ever more than 3 blackjack tables open during the entire cruise. Don't know about being below the casino but there was not a lot of shouting and dancing in the casino.

You may want to look into another TA if you didn't get a brochure. You also might want to look carefully at the pricing. There are currently a number of European sailing dates for the Ruby where balcony staterooms on Baja deck are the same price as Oceanview staterooms on Plaza.

To answer your question, we stay on the Plaza (deck 5) in D cat. too, on every cruise. We like it, and we hear no noise from the casino.. however, I think that there is storage right under this area, and I have heard things rolling and banging - sometimes more then other times. If you're a light sleeper, this may bother you.

Thank you everyone! I had some problems finding my post, that's why it has taken me so long to post again. I did end up changing my cabin to one on the Emerald deck. OV might be somewhat obstructed can't tell really from the map but less noise was more important than a great view!
