Okay fellow cruisers, which is it?

 

We are looking at the Glory at the end of February.

 

Guarenteed Suite for just over $3000 or guarenteed ocean view for $2200. These sound like pretty good deals.

 

I need to book this in short order, or should I wait till Monday morning?

I don't think that is a great deal. I would shop around. You should be able to book a balcony for $2000.00 or less. Good Luck

We sailed the conquest in december and loved it so I am pretty excited about the prospect of this cruise.

Boy, it depends on what your preferences are. A suite will have more room plus a balcony if that's important. However, if you arent' in your room much there's not a lot of point in spending an extra $800 that could be spent elsewhere.

 

Since they are guaranteed rooms, you will likely end up with a better location for a suite. You run the risk of a noisy or bad location with a guaranteed ocean view.

With diff in price $270 a person I would take the suite. However You could also book a reg balc cabin for somewhere inbetween those fairs A balc cabin should be about $2500 for the 3 of you

Are you saying you paid 879.00 for a balcony cabin for two people? Or did you pay 879.00 per person?

I just checked with my TA in town here and she can not touch the deals as quoted above. I actually think that 2200 for the three of us on a balcony is a pretty good deal. I have been unable to beat what carnival quoted me for this.

whoa...2200 for a guarantee ocean view or a guarantee balcony?????? there's a difference.

and if you get a guarantee balcony, doesn't that mean you can wind up with an obstructed view????

guarenteed ocean view is what I was quoted. Its a TBA cabin, so you wouldn't know what cabin you were getting until boarding day. At least that is what my pvp from carnival told me
