tarbashchaputi Posted January 7, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2005 Okay fellow cruisers, which is it? We are looking at the Glory at the end of February. Guarenteed Suite for just over $3000 or guarenteed ocean view for $2200. These sound like pretty good deals. I need to book this in short order, or should I wait till Monday morning? HELP!!!! flacplnj Posted January 7, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2005 I don't think that is a great deal. I would shop around. You should be able to book a balcony for $2000.00 or less. Good Luck

Momto5boys Posted January 8, 2005 #6 Share Posted January 8, 2005 Boy, it depends on what your preferences are. A suite will have more room plus a balcony if that's important. However, if you arent' in your room much there's not a lot of point in spending an extra $800 that could be spent elsewhere. Since they are guaranteed rooms, you will likely end up with a better location for a suite. You run the risk of a noisy or bad location with a guaranteed ocean view. CaribbeanCrazy Posted January 8, 2005 #8 Share Posted January 8, 2005 Wowzo, Are you saying you paid 879.00 for a balcony cabin for two people? Or did you pay 879.00 per person? CaribbeanCrazy
tarbashchaputi Posted January 8, 2005 Author #9 Share Posted January 8, 2005 I just checked with my TA in town here and she can not touch the deals as quoted above. I actually think that 2200 for the three of us on a balcony is a pretty good deal. I have been unable to beat what carnival quoted me for this. Brian whoa...2200 for a guarantee ocean view or a guarantee balcony?????? there's a difference. and if you get a guarantee balcony, doesn't that mean you can wind up with an obstructed view???? tarbashchaputi Posted January 9, 2005 Author #11 Share Posted January 9, 2005 guarenteed ocean view is what I was quoted. Its a TBA cabin, so you wouldn't know what cabin you were getting until boarding day. At least that is what my pvp from carnival told me
