specialty restaurants on Jewel

My mother loves Il Popo in Tango. It used to be free now it's $10. Very reasonable.

We really liked Blue Lagoon. Good breakfast (more peaceful than MDR or buffet) and good fish and chips. No extra charge.

We found Le Bistro very nice. My mom loved the escargot. I love the soups (French onion and mushroom) and creme brûlée. $15.

I also had a very memorable lunch in the sushi restaurant. I was the only customer. This was a transatlantic. They told me a few cruises earlier during spring break it was standing room only! They catered to my every whim! $15.

Prices are from my memory, and may have changed. Maybe someone who has cruised the Jewel recently can confirm.

I second the Il Popo in Tango's.

The banana pancakes a la mode for dessert in Chin Chin are excellent. For appetizers, try the spring rolls.

The filet mignon-jumbo shrimp combination (Land & Sea) in Teppanyaki is excellent.

Great mushroom soup in Le Bistro.

Very good New England Clam Chowder in Cagney's. Also, good crab cakes.
