wildernesslady Posted November 5, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2009 We are getting the best flights into Ft. Lauderdale instead of Miami where the ship is leaving from. How much of a hassle is it to get to Miami? Are there shuttles? Where would be the best place to stay for the night? We would be arriving around 9:00 the night before the cruise so sightseeing is not to important. Thanks
megr1125 Posted November 5, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 5, 2009 you can try SAS transportation....then maybe super shuttle back...( i don't think SAS picks up in Miami, only in Broward county) i would just stay near Ft Lauderdale a/p since you're getting in late....it you just want to crash, try one of these: Courtyard FLL airport Spring Hill Suites (dania beach...near airport) hampton inn there are others, but that's a start......you can search this thread too, this question comes up every day at least twice!:p
ParrotHead79 Posted November 5, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 5, 2009 We are doing this same thing in January. We booked the Holiday Inn on I-95 and Sheriden for the night before our cruise. free shuttle from the airport to the hotel and then SAS from the Hotel to the Port of Miami for $15 PP one way. wildernesslady Posted November 5, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted November 5, 2009 Thanks for the help. Does the shuttle then run from Miami to FLL airport after cruise.
