gumballexpress Posted November 7, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 7, 2009 Has anyone been in these cabins or anywhere forward on any of the voyager class ships? I've read some comments which have me concerned about the location. We want connecting cabins with couches not chairs, which is how we ended up with these as there are very few cabins with these criteria. I'm curious as to how much motion there is foreward as opposed to midship or aft. Is there really a huge difference? Any information, experiences and/or pictures would help greatly. cb at sea Posted November 7, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 7, 2009 If seas are really calm, you won't have too much motion. BUT--if seas are choppy or rough, you are going to bear the brunt of it....the front of the ship is what hits the water first....and you'll also get any "up and down" motion magnified, as well. (Think of a see-saw) Hopefully, you'lll have nice, smooth seas. But even if you don't, you won't be in the cabins except at night....you'll be all over the ship the majority of the time.... Bring some motion sickness preventative, and enjoy!
