gehrandt Posted November 7, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 7, 2009 Does anyone have any idea of "normal" (if there is such a thing) traffic from LAX area to the Port of LA on a Sat. morning? Like how much time should we give ourselves? Ended up with the 4 star Sheraton Gateway. DH didn't want to try LA Friday 4pm traffic.
Splinter Posted November 7, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 7, 2009 Are you driving yourself or taking a shuttle or cab? I would plan on a hour, but if you are lucky, the drive will be closer to 25 minutes.
gehrandt Posted November 7, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted November 7, 2009 Probably will try Execucar - that is if nobody else has problems with them - gather they didn't pick up once. Hopefully that was just a fluke.

I would definitely not wait until the afternoon to make your way there just in case there's a traffic jam between the airport area and San Pedro. Construction, accidents, even a car pulled over by the CHP can slow the flow of traffic, even on a Saturday.
