Buses

Not directly. The beach is at the airport, while the buses go past the airport on the main highway towards the university. So you would have to alight at the airport and walk along Airport Road--towards the passenger terminal--to get to the hotel and beach.

The public bus (Vitran) does have bus stops along the airport road close to the terminal, which is past the entrance to Emerald Beach, however there seems to be more buses that go past the airport heading west toward the university. In anycase you could get off right at the corner before the airport and then walk to the beach, about a 6-8 minute walk. If you were taking the 'dollar ride' then it would not pull into the aiport road, again you'd have to get off at the corner before the airport and walk the short distance to the beach.
