sharke Posted November 11, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2009 Can anyone give me information on the best way to get from Villefranche to Antibes? Bus or train? Also any information regarding things to do in Antibes. Any and all information appreciated. Have already done Monaco and Eze. Thought we'd go the other way this time. Rare Hlitner Posted November 11, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 11, 2009 For Antibes I would recommend the train since its much faster. If you took a bus you would have to go into the Nice Routier bus station after which you would probably need to change buses. Most of the bus lines (except for the few express buses that run between places like Nice and MC) make many stops just like any local bus line....and hence it can be long j(time-wise) journey. From the tender pier in Villefranche it is a relatively easy walk to the train station except you should be prepared to climb the many steps from the port up to the station.
