surmy555 Posted November 11, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2009 I see where Carnival has a Swim with the Sea Lions in Puerto Vallarta. Has anyone done this? How was it? Is it possible to do on your own? Any info is appreciated. Dave

gargoyle999 Posted November 12, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 12, 2009 We did it last November. It was fun and I'm glad we did it. Though it is a bit pricey so would likely not do it a second time. We had a problem with others in our group who were doing it not following the directions. So we lost some time waiting for everyone. But we enjoyed Las Caletas and the Sea Lion "snorkel". It's my understanding that it needs to be done though the cruise ship. But I have seen one or two posts from people saying they did it on their own. I generally book independent excursions but booked this one with the cruise line because I thought it would be a fun excursion and because it is a pretty good boat ride to get out there. Here are some pics we took:
