So now there is a limit on the Slot Machine method?

We are planning to cruise on Crown and I am wondering does Crown have the same set up as we have used on Emerald, that is you can put cash on your player's account via the slot machine, then take the cash from your player's account thus avoid paying the 3% fee.

On Emerald they actually advertised this method - but that was back in late 2008.

Everything is the same on all ships that have the slot machine credit card system. The limit I think you are referring to is the $100 mentioned. I explained this to you on another thread. :D $100 is all you can get from any machine during one transaction. You can continue to transact over and over again.

Other than the idea to load up on credit card points, from what I was told this very week by 1-800-PRINCES line, there is no longer 3% charge. You simply charge to the shipboard account and as long as cc authorization works, you are good to go.

It did not used to be this way. If anyone has other news (like the rep misinformed me), then by all means post away.

I believe the rep misinformed you - because the card system is the way Princess advertised last year for you to avoid the 3% fee - the intent is to make you sit down at the slot machine, so you would most likely play as well...

If there is any change I will let you know next week. We'll be getting on the Coral December 7th and I will be doing a LIVE.
