n4runner Posted January 9, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2005 Leaving on ROS 02/27/05 - this is our 2nd cruise and this time we're taking DD (13) with us - can't wait to share our adventures with her! So pardon my ignornace - but just how do the pullman beds work? They come down from the ceiling? She'll climb up from the bed - back flip on from the couch? Do I need to bring Olympic style score cards? Silly question I know - but dying of curiosity.....
ERsecurity Posted January 9, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2005 The bed will either drop from the ceiling and a ladder will be provided or you will have a couch that makes into a bed. As they say in our nursing home, 'it depends'. It depends on what type of cabin you have. Either way it will be great and easy for a 13 year old.. nikki303 Posted January 9, 2005 #3 Share Posted January 9, 2005 There was a thread about this just a couple weeks ago. Check it out here. It has a couple of pics. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=113360
KamloopsCruisers Posted January 9, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 9, 2005 We had a pullman bed on our 17 night cruise from Hawaii to New Zealand. We were travelling with our then 15-year-old daughter. DD is partly paralyszed on one side and no problem climbing up the ladder to her "bunk". Sue
n4runner Posted January 10, 2005 Author #5 Share Posted January 10, 2005 Thanks for the pics - that really helped us firm it up in our heads... I appreciate it! N
