Which check-in line is better?

Recommended Posts

I'm on the 12/1 Oasis sailing (my first RCCL sailing in several years). I'm in a suite and also platinum. Any advice/comment on which line(s) will be faster/more efficient in boarding?

Follow the signs for suites or platinum?

Thanks

Last time I sailed, they had one line for suite/platinum and above guests. Not sure if they will do something different for Oasis

Just look for the shortest line, wether it be "regular" pax, "suite" pax, or platinum pax.

But if your like me @ the grocery store I always pick the shortest line and it is always the slowest.

Don't worry we will all get on eventually.

Believe it or not last two cruises i was on the ship after my friends and I was in the suite line. They are one away from platinum. It all depends on how many suite guests there are in the line you are in and any issues that are occurring with people ahead of you. Usually unless there is some big problem everyone is on Board in less than 15/20 minutes.

Sorry if My post is a repeat, we are having a huge storm in Seattle right now and the power is flickering, so not sure if my previous post went through.

If you go to Oasisofthesea.com

the latest video says the have over 90 ticket/check in counters

Plus their goal is 15 minutes from curb to ship.

I'm platinum but i'll be sailing with family members that are Diamond. The highest rank of the party applies to all sailing in that party according to RCCL (as far as check in goes atleast). But i still get my Platinum perks ;)
