sharonkaye Posted January 9, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2005 Starting to organize a group of girlfriends to take a 3 three cruise. Does anyone know if the Majesty of the Seas have been drydocked lately? I was on her around 3-4 years ago and she looked tired. Thanks for your help. Seaside2358 Posted January 9, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2005 If you do a search for majesty drydock there are a few posts that state possibly May 2005 but I haven't seen anything definite yet. I would check with RCI if you want to know before you book...
carmelninetysix Posted January 9, 2005 #3 Share Posted January 9, 2005 She has all new carpeting and has all new updated staterooms and suites! Her Centrum and Main areas have all been given a new futureistic look! She is even more beautiful now! My Husband and I will be sailing on her this May 16th, 2005 on the four night sailing! enjoy! Happy Sailings and Bon Voyage!!! Melissa
bUU Posted January 9, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 9, 2005 There was defintely new carpeting in the halls outside the upper decks staterooms, but not outside the lower decks staterooms. The wear on the carpeting outside our stateroom probably wouldn't have been as noticeable if we didn't walk the entire ship and see what new carpeting would look like. :) Despite not having been drydocked recently, the ship seems in relatively good shape. hopebh Posted January 9, 2005 #5 Share Posted January 9, 2005 We were on Majesty on the December 13th sailing and we thought that she was beautiful. The renovations done to this ship is nothing compared to what is planned for the EOS, but it was still quite nice.
