#6574 on the Navigator of the Seas

Recommended Posts

Hi! My husband and I will be going on our first cruise in May. We will be going on the Navigator of the Seas. Can anyone tell me if room #6574 is a good room (not too noisy and in a good location)? Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated!

You are in good shape. Halfway between the elevator banks and one deck up from the Promenade deck. We prefer Deck 6 (been on it on the Navigator and the Voyager) because it is an easy walk down one flight to the Promenade deck, two down to casino, Schooners Bar, theater balcony--this is good if you need the facilities after the show because half the women in there are headed for Ladies and the other half need the elevator and you can get to your cabin quickly without the elevator if need be. One deck up to the worthless library (bring your own books) and the internet cafe. The only time we felt a need to use the elevators is going to the Windjammer, pool deck, and observation lounge and down to Deck 3 if you are assigned the lowest level dining room. You are, also, on the side of the ship that has the elevator bank that goes to the observation lounge, the other side does not.

Hope this helps

Good Day!

My wife and I are sailing on the Explorer of the Seas in this same cabin in September (for the Canada/NE cruise). Since the ship layouts are the same I'm curious as to the experience from it.

How did you find the room to be? Our one concern is it seems like, based on deck plans, that it is above the pub on the Promenade (Crown & Kettle on our ship, Two Poets on the Navigator) Did you get much noise from the pub from music (or from folks being a bit loud after a few drafts *grin*)?

Hope you enjoyed your cruise, you always remember the first one!

Thanks!!

Hi! We had a great time on our cruise. The room was perfect! It's right in the middle of everything. In our 12 days on the boat the music from the pub was only loud one night. It was really muffled though and it didn't last very long. It's really a great room and we wish we could do the cruise all over again! :) Hope you have a great time!!!

Great! Thanks for the response. We're definitely looking forward to this as we have mainly done Caribbean cruises in the past, and this is our first time on a Voyager class ship (we've not done any of the larger ships, so this will be the largest....so far *grin*) Glad to hear the musics not bad, although we are not bringing our daughter on this trip so we may be up a bit late anyway and miss it (or be in their ourselves)

I like the idea of being close to the promenade and easy to get to the restaurants and such. Starting our countdown now and hope you get to do another one soon!
