dollysmom Posted November 20, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2009 We will be ending a cruise in Yokohama in March and would like to find out the price for a taxi to Tokyo-don't yet know which hotel we'll be staying at. I know there are trains, but we would prefer something easier with luggage.

If you are able to find a taxi driver willing to make the trip, he will charge you about 20,000 to 25,000 Yen. That is about US$250 - $300. There is a limousine bus service between Yokohama and Tokyo that is interesting, clean, and inexpensive. You may want to use one of the many Japanese luggage delivery services. They will pick up your bags nearly anywhere and deliver them anywhere in Japan the next morning. Then you could take the train with no worries.
