Diving & Snorkeling

Scubagirl, or anyone else that can give us information. We are sailing on the Triumph and will be in Key West Dec 14, Freeport Dec 15, and Nassau Dec 16. We love to snorkel, DH is certified to dive, has not done much of it, I am not certified. Are there any boats that do both, snorkeling and diving? We do not drink and party, so looking for good reefs, not good booze. I have heard about Stuart Cove and Barefoot Sailing. Give me your options, please. Which boats in Freeport and Key West?

In Nassau, Stuart Cove and Bahama Divers do both Scuba and snorkeling from the same boat. (depends on the # of people booked).

The trouble with this is that divers need at least 25-30 feet or more to get a good dive.. and that's usually too deep for snorkelers who are looking for 15ft or so depth at the most.

 

Stuart Cove does some good Snorkeling tours (wreck/reef/sharks).. and barefoot Cruises goes out to a nice reef off Rose Island.

Thanks, I thought about the different depths, and didn't know if it would work. I may call Stuart Cove and Bahama Divers just to see.
