SAFE to walk in the BLUE LAGOON area after dark?

staying at the BLUE LAGOON-Hampton Inn and was wondering if this is a SAFE place to walk in after dark...getting in late afternoon and probably by the time we get to hotel checked in and things it will be getting dark...want to get some drinks and stuff across the street at the Pubix--i am assuming not far, but how SAFE to walk after dark.....TRENT or FLAHAM you still OUT THERE to ADVICE us:confused:WOULD APPRECIATE!!!

We stayed around the corner at the Homewood Suites last spring and felt safe walking to the Publix for wine supplies :D and dinner at Casa Juan. Use your head and don't stay out too late and you should be fine. Good luck!:)

Our family stayed at the HInn Blue Lagoon and it seemed just fine to go across the street. Some of the family walked across to eat supper. The main thing is safely crossing the street which should be no problem with a cross walk. As always just be aware of your surroundings and anyone around you just like in any large city. Have a great time!
