A day at Bougainvillea or Carlisle Bay?

Would anyone suggest doing this for the day? What beach are they located at and how far from the pier would they be? We've done the Boatyard and liked it fine, but were looking to maybe do something different this time. Would Mullins Beach be a better choice??
