La Quinta New Orleans Airport

We'll be staying outside of the city in Kenner at the la Quinta Airport hotel, which offers free shuttle service to and from the airport. Well be flying in late Saturday, getting a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, then embarking on our cruise Sunday.

 

Would it be cheaper, on Sunday, to take the hotel's shuttle back to the airport, then catching a cab from there to the port, or would it be better (cheaper) to take a cab directly from the hotel to the pier?

I would call someone like United Cab and ask them for quotes from both locations.
