Boarding time auckland (diamond)

Our boarding pass says to board from 1pm. After checking out from our hotel, is 11.30am too early to get to the port? Is there an area to wait and line up? Is there a chance we will be on before 1pm?

You will be able to drop off your luggage and go for a wander. The Hilton Hotel is part of the ship's terminal and they have a bar/lounge that you can sit in and have a drink while you are waiting. You can probably check in earlier but my experience has only been with HAL.

They..Princess..prefer if you wait until after 1pm but they usually start boarding @ 1130 or so..

 

We are on the 1/16/2010 sailing..excitiment is building and we are soo ready to visit Australia and New Zealand..
