Video Poker on the Elation?

Hi all,

 

I did a search through this board and couldn't find a definitive answer.

 

Does anyone know if there are Video Poker (J or Better, Deuces Wild etc.) on Carnival's Elation? I prefer these machines over reel slots because at least feel like I have a snowball's chance in heck of coming out ahead ;)

 

I'm too much of a chicken to play table poker - LOL.

If the Elation is like the Carnival Pride, expect the video poker machines you'd see on land in which you can select from at least 6 types of video poker games. However, the jacks or better had a 6/5 payscale which is horrible compared to the 9/6 or 8/5 you'll find on land. Plus, they're not regulated by US Gaming boards; however, I saw several 4 of a kinds on the JorB games in a short span of time. I hope this helps...

Thanks for the info. I was hoping they would have video poker. The paytable - well - that's to be expected I guess. I'll have to adjust my playing accordingly.

Hi, its there anyway to validate if a betting strategy like this video poker guide one could be used when printed near the machines, can i carry a PDA or smothing else with the information... tks a lot
