swedish weave Posted November 28, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 28, 2009 Anyone know the price of the local bus system in Acapulco.Looking to go from cruise port to playa condesa also what bus would we catch :confused::confused: I haven't been there in a couple of years, but I think the bus fares are pretty standard in Mexico. Local buses in PV and Mazatlan are 5.5 pesos or 50 cents US. Most buses have the destinations painted on the window or windshield. If you don't see it, ask someone at the cruise terminal. Most of them speak some English and are more than willing to help you.
mcmarya Posted November 28, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 28, 2009 A couple of weeks ago, the bus driver was happy to take $1 for 2 passengers. You don't have to have pesos.
bobnsofi Posted November 28, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 28, 2009 Playa Condesa appears to be a beach along the main boulevard. There is lots of traffic and buses that flow that direction. The best way would be to exit the cruise terminal and catch any bus in the direction from curbside (do not cross the street and head the other way), or you could walk. Playa Condesa map link below http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&source=hp&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=playa+condesa+acapulco&fb=1&gl=us&hq=playa+condesa&hnear=acapulco&cid=0,0,18330868625026637359&ei=cZ4QS-qyFYrEMKOSzDM&sa=X&oi=local_result&ct=image&resnum=1&ved=0CAgQnwIwAA The cruise pier is in the background, Playa Condesa is in the direction too the right Acapulco Bay is large. Playa Condesa is near the left end of this pic below
