LimaSierra Posted November 28, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 28, 2009 Sailing soon on the QM2. The brochure indicates that the Queens Suites are provided with binoculars..........is this a fact? One less thing to pack. Thanks for your reply.
Mattsmum Posted November 30, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 30, 2009 didn't find any in our suite, but to be honest I hadn't read about there being any so didn't look. We bought a pair in Gibraltar as we had forgotten to pack any. We had been discussing the fact that we had forgotten ours with others who were in QG and none of them mentioned the fact that there were some in the suites. bobnatt Posted November 30, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 30, 2009 Isn't there a difference between QG cabins and QG suites? Perhaps only the real big suites get the binoculars...

Probably need them in there so they can watch the TV while they're in bed. :D J

SeaMatesNYC Posted November 30, 2009 #7 Share Posted November 30, 2009 Or keep a lookout for people to tip:D. Sir Martin There, there, kitty. Seems you found your pounce. If I recall correctly, it used to list binoculars and umbrellas on the Accommodations page for QG on the website. But now it has been removed. Perhaps too many people thought they had been left behind by the previous occupants and gave them a new home?
Cruachan Posted November 30, 2009 #8 Share Posted November 30, 2009 Or keep a lookout for people to tip:D. Sir Martin Now, see - I considered that one but I didn't use it. Old Bob's not such a bad ole boy and I didn't want to dredge up ancient conflicts. :) J

sfbearcat Posted December 1, 2009 #11 Share Posted December 1, 2009 When the ship first sailed I do remember there was a pair in that little bookshelf near the bar..but have never seen a pair since,Im sure people just took them much like they take the soaps ect and after a few replacements Cunard said enough! SueOverend Posted December 1, 2009 #18 Share Posted December 1, 2009 We've just got off the QM2 and were in a Q6 - no binoculors were provided. Fortunately, we had brought our own. Maybe they all had them originally and they have not replaced them when they have gone missing! Sue
