cruisecrazy82 Posted December 1, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 1, 2009 Hi all!! I was just curious if Carnival decorates their ships for the Holidays. We will be going on our first Carnival cruise 11/27/2010 and I know other lines (specifically Disney) decorate their ship right after Thanksgiving and was just wondering if Carnival did any kind of Holiday decor and when specifically they do decorations. TIA:)
beemergal Posted December 2, 2009 #2 Share Posted December 2, 2009 I just got off the Carnival sensation, which cruised 11/26-29/09 and we had decorations. There was not a tree that I recall, but there was a lot of garland and colorful balls. It really added a nice touch to the ship!

BillnBobbi Posted December 2, 2009 #7 Share Posted December 2, 2009 Hi all!! TIA:) We were on The Glory a few years ago, going to the Western Caribbean. It was a year that Christmas and Channukah fell on just about the same dates. The rotunda had a Christmas tree and a giant Menorah behind the piano, and there were other similar decorations in the dining rooms. Some of the passengers put wreaths, or paper menorahs and paper dreidels on their doors as well. It was fun, we didn't mind the fact that the ship was completely overrun with little kids and teenagers because we knew that it would be that way when we booked. Besides, who wants to be on a ship with a bunch of grumpy old folks like us. :-) Oh, and there was a holiday concert with the usual songs given on the first or second night of the cruise as well. scorp111 Posted December 2, 2009 #8 Share Posted December 2, 2009 We cruised on Valor on 11/23 last year, and the decorations went up the week after. This year we were on Glory 11/21 and they were already up. I am a fan!
