Advice needed on new booking

Hello all

 

I just recently booked a Celebrity cruise for next year with a travel agent at time of booking i did not have my Captains Club number at hand. I recently contacted my travel agent with my number however they stated I now have to input the number when I check in online for the cruise is this correct?

Also is there a time limit on when your membership umber is required in the booking in order to receive the perks when on board?

You certainly can add your number when doing the online check in, however your TA should have done this for you as a courtesy.

Your TA should have done it. If you had booked directly with X they would input it for you. Call customer service at X and see if they will add it to your reservation since your TA is not cooperating. You will need your booking #. Have you registered your cruise online? Maybe if you do it will let you input your number. We had our last cruise online when booked with a TA.

It is not a big deal and there is no time limit. Your TA should do it for you, it is part oftheir job and what they get paid for, but you can also have Celebrity add it.
