Flying over to Ambergris Caye

Anyone done this? We've booked it. Should be interesting tendering, cab to the airport, flying over to AC to snorkel and check it out and then trying to make it back to the ship. What the heck, might as well.

There was chatter here on similar topic about flying to and fro to Caye Caulker. Sounds reasonable. If weather is fine and you pay attention to the ship's time versus local time, you should be okay. Certainly not as potentially as rough as the water taxi. Have a good time.

Check out this thread in the scuba and snorkeling section, lots of talk about flying to Ambergis Cay. I would love to go diving there, I am just not sure I want to be stressing about the time:o
