Need Advice on St. Martin excursion

We are thinking of taking the Golden Eagle Catamaran tour to Tintamarre Island. How good is the snorkeling on this tour?

It has been many years, but I agree - we thought snorkeling was mediocre (too sandy at the place we went to). Now the very cold French Champagne and the GE Crew were awesome!

 

They helped us with a lost article, that was way above the call of duty and probably cost them time at the end of a long day. Our item was returned to the ship fully intact.
