ewynn07 Posted December 10, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2009 We are doing a family cruise and would like to arrive the day before the cruise. Looking for a hotel where we can leave our cars and get hotel transportation to take us to Port Everglades. Any info would be appreciated~~thanks! Michidoeme Posted December 10, 2009 #3 Share Posted December 10, 2009 We stayed at the Springhill Suites in Dania Beach. They provide parking and complementary shuttle to the ship. I am 98 % sure parking is free, but please double check. Hotel is not 5 star, becoming a bit old, but accommodations are fine and it is clean enough. It is from the Marriott chain. Reason we picked it is that room is good size (bedroom and sitting room, without separation) and the free shuttle to/from airport and to cruise port. It provides a free breakfast, also hot items, more than in comparable places. As prices are reasonable, and we only stayed overnight, stay was more than acceptable. It is close to the highway, so poolside is very loud. Our room in back was ok, although you could still hear some traffic.

Janet524 Posted December 10, 2009 #5 Share Posted December 10, 2009 We have stayed at Hyatt Place on SE 10th Avenue in Ft. Lauderdale (listed as Hyatt Place Ft. Lauderdale/Airport North) twice and will be there again this January. Good location near shops and restaurants. There's an Outback Steakhouse within walking distance. We bid on Priceline and got it for $75/night.
